Here’s a checklist of what a incompetent survivor would do.
- Walking/crouching around a lot when not in immediate danger.
- Has awful situational awareness.
- Dangerous unhooking where the rescuer doesn’t attempt to block a hit. (Borrowed Time Exception)
- Dangerous unhooking where it can lead to both the rescued and rescuer to be downed.
- Too afraid to do anything when the killer is clearly distracted by someone else.
- Wastes resources (pallets) too quickly and too often. (Exception when going against spirit.)
- Generally barely touches a gen to begin with.
- Using lockers for not a good reason.
If you avoid doing most of the things listed, great job you achieved above average survivor status.
