The new trailer gives fans a taste of what A Thief’s End and Lost Legacy will look like utilizing the PS5’s technology. As we see in the trailer, players can choose from three different graphic modes: Fidelity, Performance, and Performance+. It will also bring 3D audio and DualSense support to the PS4 titles. Alongside the trailer, the manager of communications for Naughty Dog, Rochelle Snyder, took to the PlayStation blog to share how the improvements came together. Wanting to appeal to both returning and new players, Snyder says that putting the trailer together was “an exercise in revisiting favorite moments and sharing what we loved about the franchise and ensuring that those moments came through in the cut”. Snyder continued to share why Uncharted 4 and Lost Legacy were chosen for the remaster. She spoke about how special the two titles are to Naughty Dog, with Uncharted 4 being a "substantial improvement in almost every aspect of animation”. So, it was a no-brainer to remaster the games to bring “greater detail and fidelity in tandem” to these stories. The Legacy of Thieves bundle will launch on January 28. Those who already own a copy of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy or a digital bundle of the two can upgrade to the digital version of Legacy of Thieves for $10. A PC version of the title is expected sometime later this year. Plus, until February 3, players in participating countries who purchase the Legacy of Thieves through the PlayStation Store will receive a voucher for a ticket to the upcoming Uncharted movie. |
