Bioshock 4 may be called Bioshock Isolation

Posted by: Diablo in News (Rumors)     Tags: Bioshock Isolation called may
It appears that some new rumors for the next BioShock game, BioShock 4, have just surfaced online. According to these new rumors, BioShock 4 will be called BioShock Isolation, will be using Unreal Engine 5, and will be announced in Q1 2022.

As the leak indicates, the game is being developed by former Watch Dogs: Legion, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Mafia 3, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided developers. So yeah, that’s definitely good news. This information comes from Oops Leaks. And, since this Twitter account appears to be a new one, I was a bit cautious about this. However, Oops Leaks has also leaked a slide from the game’s pitching.

According to the slide, BioShock Isolation will have two cities. These cities will share a flipside border zone, and one of them will be underground.

Now as with all rumors, we suggest taking everything you just read with a grain of salt. As with most games that are in development, things may change. 2K Games and Cloud Chamber may also change the title of the game (as BioShock Isolation feels kind of… weird?). Nevertheless, that’s how Cloud Chamber pitched the game to 2K Games.

Lastly, and while this leak hints at a Q1 2022 reveal, it will be interesting to see what will happen next week. In case you weren’t aware of, the Video Game Awards are on December 9th. Thus, we may see something from this new BioShock game in this gaming event. Geoff Keighley has stated that they will show 40-50 games.
