Dr. Dre is making music for a new Grand Theft Auto game, according to Snoop Dogg

Dr. Dre is producing music for a new Grand Theft Auto game, according to long-time collaborator and fellow rapper Snoop Dogg.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Snoop also said he would be contributing to some of the music Dre is working on for the unannounced project.

“I do know he’s in the studio,” Snoop said of Dre. “I do know he’s making great f*****g music. And some of his music is connected to the GTA game that’s coming out.

“So I think that that will be the way that his music will be released, through the GTA video game.”

A representative for Grand Theft Auto maker Rockstar Games declined to comment on Snoop’s claims when contacted by Rolling Stone.

Grand Theft Auto 6 could still be four years away from release and feature an expanding map set in Vice City, reliable industry insider Tom Henderson claimed in July. His claims were backed up by well-informed Bloomberg journalist Jason Schreier, as well as VGC’s own sources.
