This game has always stood out as one of the best FPS video games out there. It has an essential ranking system that separates great gamers from bad ones. But before you can play the game, your computer must have the right system requirements. This is important because the mechanics of the current version are very different and advanced compared to previous versions. So, what system requirements do you need for this game?

Minimum system requirements for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
RAM – 2 GB
Graphics Card - Video card should be at least 256 MB. The AMD Radeon HD 6450 is recommended.
Minimum Hard Drive Space – 8 GB
DirectX – Version 9
Processor – Intel Core 2 Duo Processor E6600 (2.40 GHz, 1066 MHz FSB, 4M Cache)
Operating system - Windows XP 32 bit. The game can also run on Windows Vista and Windows 7

While these are the minimum system requirements for the game, they can go higher after updates are made in the game.

What is optimal?
The running of the CS: GO game highly depends on the type of processor and GPU in your computer. A Dual Core processor from any manufacturer will do just fine. But try your best to get any of the available Intel Core i3 processors.

You should also have a minimum RAM of 4 GB. This is crucial since a lot of memory is usually allocated to the game when playing it. Having 4 GB RAM will ensure no memory leaks occur during gameplay.

When it comes to GPU, go for the Nvidia GTX 750 Ti. This will run the video game smoothly with better graphics and higher frame rate. The GPU will also offer over 200 frames per second if you use it with any of the i3 processors.

Can you meet these system requirements?
To use any computer software efficiently, the software requires the presence of specific software resources or hardware components. In the computer world, these requirements are known as system requirements.

In the gaming world, developers give consumers a set of system requirements different from what is needed to run basic software programs.

The advantage of buying gaming PC today is that they all come with the minimum system requirements listed above. For example, the 15.6” Dell Inspiron gaming PC comes with 8 GB memory, Intel Core i5, 8 GB Hybrid Hard Drive and the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 GPU.

The HP OMEN gaming PC comes with the same specifications as the Dell Inspiron, although there are differences in GPU. For HP, the GPU is the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060. What this means is that it is easy to meet the system requirements for CS: GO.

This will be easy if you buy a gaming PC. If you do not have a gaming PC and still want to play the game, you will have to upgrade your HDD, RAM, and GPU.

How much will it cost?
Prices for gaming PCs have been going down in recent years. Before, a gaming PC could cost over $1,000. Nowadays, a gaming PC that has all the system requirements needed to run the CS: GO game goes for around $499. If you know the teams well, you can win money on CS:GO pro matches, it can be a nice addition if you want to buy a new computer.

But if you want a good gaming PC that will not cause problems during gameplay, consider one that goes for between $600 and $1,200.

You can also buy a high-end gaming PC for around $4,000. Or, you can build your own gaming PC and include all the requirements you think are best for you.
