Ahead of the launch on October 8th, NetherRealm Studios have revealed the gameplay trailer for The Terminator, with Arnold Schwarzenegger laying the smackdown on the Mortal Kombat 11 roster. Check out the gameplay trailer below.

As much as the Arnie impersonator might not sound great, the T-800 looks like a lot of fun to play as. He’s a slow lumbering machine armed with a variety of weapons, and that comes across well in gameplay. Different variations appear to give the T-800 proficiencies in grappling and mobility, with teleports and command grabs allowing The Terminator to dominate the fight. His Fatal Blow and Fatality are particularly brutal, and it appears that the T-800 gets its own second life mechanic as the cyborg’s skin peels away to reveal the robotic skeleton underneath.

Early Access for The Terminator begins on October 8th for Kombat Pass members, with regular players able to purchase him separately a week later. Also launching on October 8th is the Double Feature Skin Pack, with new skins for Johnny Cage, Kano and Sonya Blade, along with the Cassie Quinn skin, which sees Cassie Cage dressing up as Harley Quinn. Are you excited for the T-800 in Mortal Kombat 11? Let us know in the comments.
